Nine Months

I can't believe it is 9 months already! I probably say that every month, but 9 months seems strange. Well, we just got back from Jenna's check up, and she is doing well. She is in the 99th percentile for length at 30 1/2 inches long, and the 70th percentile for weight at 20 lbs, 8 ounces. I have included a picture of Jenna attempting to crawl, notice I say attempting because we have not mastered this skill yet. No matter, how much Mike models Jenna still does not follow:) She does about 2 steps and then collapses to the floor and does her swimming motion. According to the doctor, she should be trying to walk along furniture, however she is only attempting to pull herself up on the furniture. She gets to her knees and then gets stuck. I am sure that will be quickly changing though because she is active.
The only other 'first' at this time is Jenna had her first cold. In fact it is back. It started New Years weekend which caused Mike and I to have a very quiet New Years. It has also interrupted our peaceful nights of sleep. Since then, Jenna has been getting a couple of times during the night. Hopefully after we get past this cold, we'll be back on track.

She is so cute!!!! Enjoy the slow months. Once they get going they never stop. I'm so glad to see pictures. What a cutie. Give her kisses for me. Love Aunt Barb
Aunt Barb,
Thanks for arranging Santa's letter! It is adorable and we are going to put it in her baby book. How is Sara feeling?
Sara is really tired. Harder on the second because you are trying to keep up on the first. Lauryn is out of her crib and in a full size big girl bed. The baby is laying on a nerve so Sara's back is killing her. Lauryn talks to Sara's tummy and yells (Baby Brother!!) I will keep you posted. Love Aunt Barb
Shannon and Mike,
I was excited to see the updated pictures of Jenna. She is getting so big. I'm sure Michaelyn is good at spoiling her as it's an Aunt's job to do this. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for the pictures.
