A Half Year!!!
I can't believe it, Jenna is 6 months today. Everyone said it would go by fast, and it definitely has. We just got back from her doctor appointment. Jenna got 4 more shots:( She screamed until I stuck the bottle in her mouth. Jenna is 17 lbs, 10 ounces so I gues I was pretty accurate a couple of weeks ago. She is 28 inches long, which is the 99%, so she is as long as she seems.
As fars as her new tricks, Jenna is starting to sit up on her own, although she can't hold it very long. She has taken some time off in trying to crawl, spending most of her time rolling when she wants to move. The most amusing thing she does is scrunch up her nose when she smiles. Jenna learned quickly that this gets a reaction, so she does it all the more.
Last weekend we took Jenna for her first hayride. She spent the hayride itself sleeping.

What a dollbaby! I love her new smile - that could keep me entertained forever! And she knows it too! Six months old and has already figured out how to get everyone's undivided attention - smart girl! And such a flirt - Mommy and Daddy are going to have their hands full!
Ok, in the third picture I see you when you were a little girl. See the older she gets, the more she changes.
I was SO excited to hear that Jenna has given up trying to crawl. Not because she hasn't crawled yet. It's that she is rolling around to get everywhere. That is exactly what I used to do when I was a baby! Now Jenna and I have something in common, too!:)

Hey Shan, what is Jenna being for her 1st Halloween ? I can't wait to see those pictures. Danny was about the same age as Jenna for his 1st Halloween, he was Dumbo !! It was so funny, the ears were bigger than his whole body. LOL

I LOVE MY NIECE/GODDAUGHTER! Shan, did you take that pic 2nd from the bottom? If so, I told you that you had the photo gene in you! That pic is by far the best!!! Anyway, back to Jenna. I'm listening right now to you whimper for attention. It's SO funny how she realizes when people have turned their attention from her for even a moment. Then, she whimpers till attention is on her again. And once it is, what a scrunchy-nosed smile on her face!!! I guess she takes after her aunt in the attention-seeking respect. I'm so proud...hee hee! :-) She's too much fun, and I love her to death!
I can't believe how much she is growing! She is so happy! Happy 6 Month Birthday Jenna.
Jenna is going to be Piglet for Halloween. Andrew is going to be Tigger, so they should make quite a pair. Michaelyn is going to do pictures for me this weekend, so I should have some up next week.
