Happy 1 Month Jenna!!!

Jenna is one month old today! I can't believe how fast a month went. Her eye infection has cleared, so that eye ointment was another battle conquered. Last night she only got up once to feed, however I think it was more like a fluke than a stepping stone. I guess we will see. Overall, she is doing well. Her fussy time seems to be from about 7 to 11 at night. Then she usually sleeps to 2 and then again to 5. Jenna goes to sleep right away after one of the feedings, but is up for some time after the other.
Last weekend was a busy time for us. We went to Uncle Alek's Communion on Saturday and then of course to visit the grandmas for Mother's Day.

She is indeed getting prettier and prettier! I love the pic of her in the bath and the one just above it w/ her eyes open. I think that's the pic on my fridge! Thanks, Shan!
Shannon, she looks so pretty in pink. My favorite color!!! I was looking for some new pictures and they are wonderful. I bet Mothers Day was extra special for you too.
Take care and God Bless. Aunt Barb
Shannon.. I have a picture of you as an infant and Jenna looks exactly like you in the tub picture. She is so beautiful ~~ you are so blessed !!! Happy one month birthday!!! xoxo
Ok, we tried to weigh Jenna at home. Of course we used the most modern technology (Mike weighed himself on the scale with and without Jenna). She also had her diaper and pajamas on, so this won't be the most accurate. According to our method, she weighed 12 lbs. However because of the clothing I am guessing it is more like 11.
Other than that, she is starting to smile at people at times. I still wonder if it is gas, but more and more she smiles at me when I first go over to her.
She really does smile at Shannon when she sees her. She just did it today. I was holding her, and as soon as Shannon came over she gave her mommy a glimpse of a smile. Her eyes lit up when she saw Mom. I don't think it's gas, Shan. She does it always at times when something would make her smile. That's not coincidence...not when the timing is so perfect that often. :-)
