Disney

Hi Everyone! I don't know if anyone checks this anymore, but just in case I thought I would do a quick update. Last week we went to Disney! We had a good time, but came home exhausted. Jenna also ended the week with a nasty cold, which made the flight home so much fun! The flight down was great, however Jenna showed her true colors the way back. It wasn't so much the cold as it was the fact that the flight home was the same time as her usual nap, and Jenna has a hard time falling asleep most of the time. As far as the week itself, Jenna loved the rides, the pool and the characters!

Hey Shan... Yes, some of us still do check this page. It's a great way for me stay up to date on her milestones. I don't get to see her as often as I would like to. Your mom said Jenna loved the pool and the pix show it. I feel for you. Michael traveled with a cold when he was about 2 1/2 and I think people on that plane ride are still talking about "that kid". Anyway, Jenna is as beautiful as ever. Enjoy every day, even the bad ones. Looking forward to seeing her (and you) at the wedding !!! OMG..it came so fast.
Love, Jennie

when Jenna is a little older, I would like to ride through "Its a Small Small world with her". I can sing her all the duck songs and pig songs as we ride along. Everyone will be welcome to join us. xxx Greatgrandmom Fugill

Shannon, you have just made my day with an update on the web site. I was just telling your mom how I check it all the time to see how Jenna is doing..(you and Mike too)! She is sooo cute. Don't you just love this age. It looks like she had so much fun. Make sure and keep the Nebraska group updated with pictures. I love it. Love Aunt Barb

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I didn't want it to be over kill. However, I will continue from time to time so that people can see Jenna.

Aunt Barb, you guys should start one for the kids. This way we can see how they are doing! Or definitely email me some pictures! I saw my mom's recent ones and they are so cute! I can't believe how long Loren's hair is now!

On another note Jenna has been running a fever, like 101-102 for 4 days now with no other symptoms. It is really strange. She has been to the docotr twice this week and they even did a catherization today, which was not easy to watch. I just felt so bad for her!

OMG Shan !!! Is she ok. Why did they do that? Was Jenna having trouble going? The poor baby and you. Were you alone? Oh I feel so bad for you guys. Did they come up with anything? I hate when they tell you it's viral. There is nothing you can do but wait until it's run it's course. But with no other symtoms except the fever, it's sounds like a virus. Please post again when you have a chance and let us know how Jenna is doing. Thinking of you both. Love, Jennie xo

They did it to rule out that she didn't have a urinary infection or a bladder infection. Apparently, when there is a fever with no other symptoms, it can be common in girls. My mom said I used to get them as a baby/toddler, and to be honest I still do. Anyway when I was a baby they taped a bag in the diaper to collect the urine. My doctor said they don't do that anymore because of contamination so they did the catherization.
When I get the results, I'll keep people posted. It also could just be a virus.
As of today she is not running a fever, but it has been typically starting around noon-2 each day. SO keep your fingers crossed that this is behind us!
