Man Rescues Family From Flood

At least that is what Mike wanted to send in to the local newspapers with the flood picture below. Actually, it was taken about a week and a half ago on my parents' street. It also caused a flood in my parents' basement too.

Well, Happy Easter everyone. We took Jenna to an Easter Egg Hunt at Justin and Jamie's church and she enjoyed herself. It is funny because she loved the Easter Bunny, even though her facial expression does not show it. All she wanted was to keep going back to see the bunny. So when I took her to see the Easter Bunny today at the mall I thought she would love it. Well, there all she kept saying was "No bunny" and "Bye Bye bunny". I ended up putting her on my lap, tickling her and showing her stuffed animals to see the Easter Bunny. However looking at the pictures you would have never guessed which experience went with which picture.

Anyway, Jenna is pretty much talking in short sentences and phrases now, and she constantly makes us laugh. She can name most of the colors. Her new answer for everything is "Sure, I'll do that", or "I don't think so". She also likes the word actually, but doesn't quite know how to use it so she just say "Actually", but then doesn't follow it with anything. Yesterday Mike was singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider and messed up the words, so Jenna told him no, she then sang it the right way, he repeated her and then she told him "that's good."

Okay - so what's wrong with the flood picture? Everyone is in winter coats and Michael is wearing shorts and a T-shirt?!!!

Love the Easter Bunny pictures - and it does look like she is ready to leap off the lap of the bunny at the school! Still a cute picture though! And she just keeps getting prettier and smarter!

Love to all - Grandmom D - can't wait to see you next week!
