Doctor Appointment
I had another doctor appointment today. The heartbeat was 156, which is higher than it has been in the past. Typically it has been around 140. We think the change may be due to the syrup I had on my pancakes this morning:)
Actually, the heart rate brings me to my next question for all of you. Some people believe that a fast or slow heartrate can predict the sex of the baby. There are also millions of other ways people feel they know the sex. So what are some theories that you have either heard or believe to be true on determining the sex?

Hey Shan.. I think I may have told you this already but I was always told a fast heartbeat means girl. That theory did not hold true for me, both the boys had fast heartbeats. They were always above 150. Someone told me an old chinese theory, this is how it goes.. (it proved to be right for me both times)
Take the number of the month you conceived, ex. December = 12
Add this number to the age you were when you conceived, ex. 25
Your total number is 37 which is an odd number, so it's a boy !
If your total is an even number it's a girl !!! Doesn't make much sense at all but makes it interesting when it comes out right!!
